Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Receipt. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Receipt
Receipt is a software utility operated by LRARE Holdings Ltd (Company No. 16807366) (“Receipt”, “we”, “us”). It provides a neutral record of PDF delivery, access, review activity and acknowledgement.
Receipt is not an e-signature platform, identity verification service, legal advice provider or consent management tool.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must ensure that any use of Receipt complies with applicable laws and these terms.
4. Use of the service
Receipt records observable events such as delivery, access, review activity and acknowledgement. It does not determine intent, understanding, consent or legal effect.
You are solely responsible for:
- The documents you upload and share
- The lawful basis for sharing documents with recipients
- How Receipt records are interpreted or relied upon
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Receipt to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Misrepresent the purpose or capability of the service
- Upload or distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing content
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or billing
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the service
6. Subscriptions, trials and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout. Some plans may include a free trial period.
If you do not cancel before the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.
Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
7. Plan changes and cancellation
You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Changes take effect in accordance with Stripe’s billing rules.
8. Availability and support
Receipt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
9. Intellectual property
Receipt and all associated intellectual property are owned by LRARE Holdings Ltd. You retain ownership of your documents and content.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receipt shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages.
Our total liability in connection with the service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
